레이니(LANY)-if this is the last time

레이니(LANY)는 미국의 캘리포니아에서 결성된 3인조 얼터너티브 록 밴드이며, Paul Jason Klein, Charles Leslie "Les" Priest, Jake Clifford Goss로 구성되어 있다. 

이들은 사운드 클라우드에 자신들의 음악을 올리면서 음악을 시작했으며, 이후 크고 작은 공연을 통해 인지도를 높여왔다. 2014년, 'Hot Lights', 'Walk Away'으로 발표되었고, 그 해 첫 미니앨범 [Acronyms]이 발매되었다. 이듬해, 미니앨범 [I Loved You]로 활동을 이어갔다.

2016년 3월 'Where The Hell Are My Friends'을 발매, 이후 Troye Sivan, X Ambassadors, Ellie Goulding 등의 콘서트 투어에 하면서 뛰어난 음악성을 입증했다. 미니앨범 [Make Out]를 발매, 타이틀곡 'ILYSB'로 많은 리스너들의 마음을 사로잡았으며, 편안한 비트와 담백한 사운드 속 중독성 넘치는 보컬로 주목을 받았다.

 

'Yea, Babe, No Way', 'Where The Hell Are My Friends'를 선공개 곡으로 발표한 후, 이 곡이 수록된 미니앨범 [kinda]를 발매하면서 활동을 이어갔다. 2017년 첫 정규 앨범 [LANY]를 발표했으며, 레트로 감성과 미래적인 신스팝의 만남으로 트렌드를 이끌어가고 있다.
