[Hello Said]
캔디스를 시작하는 시점에
‘그래서 너희가 뭐하는 애들인데?’
라는 질문을 많이 받았어요.
그럴때마다
’그냥 보여줄게’
라는 생각이 가득했어요.
그때 비트를 만들자마자 떠오른 문장

‘Show Me Your Vibe’

에요. 직역하면 ’내 바이브를 보여줄테니 너도 한 번 보여봐‘라는 뜻이지만
도전적으로 큰소리내어 ’보여줘!!!’ 라기보단
은은하게 스며들듯이 귀에 속삭이며 ‘야,보여줘봐’
라는 듯한 모습을 상상하며 썼어요.
조금은 건방지고 발칙한(?) 분위기의 노래에요.
저희가 대중들에게 보여주고 싶은 이미지가 아닐까 생각합니다.

Track 2. Weed Out
[Hello Said]
혼자 자아성찰을 많이 하던 시기에 쓰게 된 노래에요.
무슨일이던 결국 받아들이고 해결해야 할 사람은 자기자신 뿐이잖아요.
이런 깨달음을 얻은 후 그러기 위해선 생각의 관점,
즉 마인드부터 바뀌어야한다고 느꼈죠.
이 메시지를 어떻게 하면
‘재밌게 그리고 다같이 즐길 수 있게 전달할 수 있을까?’ 생각하던 와중에
내 머릿속에 있는 부정적인 생각이나 감정들을 잡초에 빗대어
‘내 머리속에 있는 잡초를 다 뽑아버리자!‘ 라는
유쾌한 발상으로 작업을 시작하게 된 곡입니다.

특별히 이곡은 보이콜드 오빠가 없었더라면 절대 완성되지 못했을 곡이에요.
곡의 퀄리티가 완전히 달라져 버렸거든요.
너무 감사하게 생각합니다.
