미국의 싱어송라이터 Alec Benjamin(알렉 벤자민)은 2014년 데뷔 싱글 'Paper Crown'을 발매하면서 감성적인 보컬과 잔잔하게 흐르는 어쿠스틱 연주를 선보이기 시작했으며, 이후 싱글 'Water Fountain', 'Summer of End', 'Boy in the Bubble', 'Let Me Down Slowly' 등으로 여린 음색과 애절한 감성을 들려주었다.

2018년 11월에는 첫 번째 풀 스토리 EP 앨범인 [Narrated For You]를 발매하며 특유의 보컬 색깔로 팬들의 귀를 사로잡았다. 이후 Alessia Cara 과의 협업곡 'Let Me Down Slowly'를 발표하는 한편 'Jesus In LA', 'Mind Is A Prison', 'Six Feet Apart'로 자신만의 이야기를 들려주기도 했다. 2020년 5월 첫 번째 정규 앨범 [These Two Windows]을 발표, 흠잡을 곳 없는 스토리텔링 앨범을 완성해냈다.
